boat faster with leopard 4082

2200 kv running 5s

Also on my boat I will run an x642 prop on both. I hit over 60 with a 1500 kv. Wondering if 2200kv on 5s is faster. More rpms with 2200 kv on 5s so maybe 65 to 70 mph?

I would stick with what you have. When you go the other way you will drain much more amps and kill run time.

And it ran slower only 56mph with just a few passes and yes destroyed his run times

Got that right......
Now I wonder on a Castle 1520 1600KV or a Leopard 4082 1500KV. Ran castle in Spartan, had death wobble and tube binding, best was 57.6 on a 445 prop. (1st run was high 40's due to binding)
Ran the new Leopard and death wobble wasnt bad, no binding so far and 56.8 mph.(better 1st run than castle) Im thinking the Leopard might be just as good as the Castle
