hi guys i wanted to ask if i can run a 1.4x45 B-2 or 1.4x47 B-2 (numbers on hubs) prop on MG with stock motor and esc running 2 2s 5000mah 20c lipos

running big props might make it get hot so keep a eye on the temps...what esc are u running? i know some guys are running m445 props on there mg but not with the stock esc.....

I don't think the stock ESC can handle such a big prop.....but there is only 1 way to find out! lol

Most likely not with the low c rating it won't....

I believe someone said they were getting hot temps on the stock esc with the m445. I wouldn't do it. Tiqueman is running what... 115 temps on the 120 seaking with the m445... I can't imagine the stock one being able to handle it better. I'd stick with a prop similar sized to the stock

x642 is a good starting point on props and work up from there till there is black goo all over the inside of your boat lol...just kidding but 642 is what i run on my mg

The first one doesn't seem to big, Make 2 wot passes for about 100 ft each way, bring it in and check temps. if it's super hot or doesn't make it back then you are over propped.

I'm pulling 100ish amps (peak) with the m445 and a ul1 motor. Wish i could tell you what the average or continuous was but I don't have that info. I would imagine the PB motor at 1500 kv would pull a lot less amperage. I think i pulled more like 75-80 amp peak with the pb motor in my hydro with the m445.
