    What's the best timing to run a ul-1s with a 120a turnigy esc 6 pole (stock motor) 2030kv on 4s 4000 lipos
    Running stock prop...and L38x55
    Choices....0..3.75...7.5...11.25...15...18.75...22 .5...26.25

    Thanks

Timing on the stock UL-1 controller is 10 degrees. I would bet the 11.25 setting would be fine. Make sure you check temps for the first few runs...

    Later,

The turnigy esc is set at 15 deg. from the factory..ant I've been running it on that.. seems to run cool I wonder if it will even run warm on 11.25....how much slower will it be on that timing

It depends on the load on the motor. You won't see a dramatic difference with normal props. I've run my FE-30 on 10 and 15 degrees and most times see no difference in speed or heat.
