What water jacket fits the cc 1527 smooth can motor...or should I go with the finned can,,,,,need to know asap

sorry steve...its neu 1527 by cc.....whats your likes or dislikes on the neu 1527 2.5 D running on 6s and what size prop

Neu makes that motor, not Castle. OSE used to carry the jackets for the 1521/1527 but they don't seem to anymore. The 1527/2.5D motor has a pretty low Kv of 925, on 6S power the prop speed would be under 20,000 rpm. What boat will you be putting the motor in, and what are your performance expectations? Racing, sport running or SAW running? The use will determine the prop and motor needed.
