Now that I'm upgrading the motor and esc..... I currently have turnigy batteries which seem to work fine with a 40c rating. I was looking at some testing done on other manufacturers and these Thunder powers seemed to keep a much flatter voltage with the lowest temperature spike. They also have a 65c rating. http://www.rctoys.com/rc-toys-and-parts/TP5000-3SPP65/RC-PARTS-THUNDER-POWER-3-CELL-LITHIUM-BATTERIES.html.... but what am I really going to gain for over double the price of the turnigy?
Thanks for your input,
Mike

Those 40c turnigy batts are pritty good actualy. You just have to try them with your new setup and see how hot they get or if there is any sweling. another option is the Nano-tech batts from hobbyking.
