Hey everyone, I'm going to get a new prop for my MG, and I think I'm going to get an AquaCraft 40-52x3. What is the shaft size on this boat, i just want to make sure the prop will even fit before i buy it. thanks!

3/16 shaft. You're gonna want a different prop with more pitch if you're running stock motor in that thing

Get the grim 42x55.

It still should be sharpened and balanced.

If you don't know how to S&B http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/proddetail.php?prod=dh-SB-aqub9725

yeah....but I don't have $45 just to spend for a prop. How do you think the 40-52x3 will perform?

Not well. Try 42/55. Or octura x642. Look on forums for deals on s/b props

Yes you can run without b/s. Note that performance will increase, and even more when it's sharp. Balancing keeps the shaft running true, and reduces wear on bushing

Hi,

Is the flex shaft long enough to use the CF-45 and these larger props?
