Is it 50 oz-in at 4.8 or 6.0 volts? It should be plenty if you run a 5-cell receiver pack.

Really, for most p-limited power boats it will work fine. Is it used? Was it ever wet?

Steveo, don't mean to but in but I was wondering about that also. I just got one that is 147 oz/in at 6 volts. That is a huge difference but no idea what is "standard" for boats. Time we need schooling. The pack also says 126 @4.8 volts

well how big is your boat , i am using a hitec servo with about 100oz for a 34" cat and it does fine and could probably could turn a larger hull

24 inch airboat with big vanes and an EDF. It looked like a servo to me and I know zip about how to rate them, but I'm learning. Thanks for letting me ride along!

strange i was just pondering this same question as i bought a servo for my 10/th scale SC truck. it has 100oz of torque and .08 for the speed. It seems lightning fast compared to the rtr servo it came with.

So I was wondering how much torque my boats should have. I don't seem to have problems with the ones i have and i doubt they have more then 50 oz

i use what ever i have most of them hitec and hobbico around 100oz from my 1/8 buggies, or MTs, tried using a traxxas water proof 2075 in my 1/8 buggy and it destroyed the plastic gears in after one lap, but they work great in boats
