It comes water resistant but I am concerned if it flips over and fills with water. Is there a way to waterproof the esc like the traxxas esc?

seaking website says its waterproof so maybe it is allset. JPriami, when you flipped yours did water fill the hull and soak the ESC? If so then it must be waterproof.

They arent water proof. They are water resistant. Sometimes when they get submerged or a little water in the case, they will act up and not work properly untill they get dried out completely.I would take the case off and spray it with Corrosion X and let it sit for a day or two. There is a gasket on there also. I put the gasket back on and also used silicon, but it still wasnt water proof. I dont know what to tell you about water proofing it. Maybe others here can give you pointers on that one. Id like to know myself.

Blackcat the guy who I purchased my esc from used some stuff called dp 270 which looks like a gel and completely encased the electronics seems like it will work well

They arent water proof.
:iagree:

Ask me how I know....:flashfire:

Guys do yourself a favor. If a T180 or Etti 150 for that matter gets soaked, let it dry out for a few days. Your only asking for trouble if you keep trying to run it.
