Anyone using a 4068 2350kv leopard in there boats? Just wondering how they fair to something like a 4074? Someone posted a link for a couple at a very good price and wanted to know if it would be a good motor for my mg thanks

i use that motor with a hobbywing 150ESC but i keep getting beat by the traxxas spartan. LOL

Biggest different in that motor vs the 4074 is wattage. That 4068 I believe is rated around 1400 watts while a 4074 is rated around 2600 watts (almost doube), so with that being said the extra 6mm of motor = almost doube the power... Prop selection is gonna be key.

tiqueman has a 4082 2200kv in a pursiut and runs a 180a esc and a m445 backcut..it huall butt

Thanks deisel actually ordered my 4074 2200kv today unfortuanetly I can't seem to find a water jacket for it though so for now I got $100 paper weight lol

looks good and very familuar lol.....that motor says it can do 60k rpm max....now thats definatly a capabile boat....dont for get the vid cam.....

Ray, what speeds did you get on your MG last time on UL-1 motor 4S?




I'm going to try it in MsG for some fast runs on 4S, see what speed I can get.

I've only run Miss G with a BJ 1500kv motor, m445 prop. Never GPS'd anything, never do, sorry.
