Hi Guys,

This is my first boat, bought it thinking it would be just as good as my E-revo...

First run using batteries from my E-Revo 6s lipos, within a few mins the esc had a meltdown, wish I had my camera would have been a perfect video for Traxxas as it came to a stop in the middle of the lake then smoke pours out from the boat would have a had title like "2011 boat award for worst rtr ever"

Aeromarine or Octura collet would be good. As long as the flex cable isnt failing next.
Sorry to hear about the burn up. This boat with it's award winning reputation, oh boy lol!

You know, there have been several suggestions for a more appropriate name for this boat.

Considering the number of them that have been resurrected from the ashes, I think the "PHOENIX" would suit it well.

That it does.

That could the most profitable accessory for this boat, customized "slam" decals. :bounce:

I've removed all Traxxas badging and will use decals form the manufacturers whose replacement parts I've used ...to include OSE. A bit of a wise guy, huh?

I have removed all the Traxxas decals, but haven't added any others yet. I have left the Spartan sticker on.

Justin, as well you should. It's a great idea, I may include a Texas flag on mine....me being a proud:biggrin:, somewhat obnoxious Texan and all. The rear of the hatch deck seems like a good spot.

False advertising hits a chord in everyone. No one who fell for this will ever forget they where robbed by a major corporation. I don't quite know what they are thinking at the company but if they are paying the least amount of attention I'll say this. Just admit there was a mistake try to help us sort through the problems. And stop selling the boats. It really is just that simple Don't wait for this to go further than it already has because when the kids get these and they will. this problem will be insurmountable and no company needs that much bad press.
