My plan is to run a stock motor and 2, 3 cell lipos with a 80hv 6-12 cell speedcontroler anyone run this or anything like it ? what kind of speed and run time thanks.

I run the Proboat motor and ESC with 2-3S packs series in a UL-1. I get between 50-55MPH consistently. Go for it.

Octura x440, x442, and M445 for short runs.

I would stick with your proposed setup. The stock motor on 6s with the 80hv should be a nice reliable setup. Try props in the 40mm-42mm range. Something like a x440, x442 or a grim 42x55. You should break into the 50s (mph). I wouldn't rely on the stock esc for 6s. It is rated at only 21v, but people are pushing them real hard.
