Got my new (and first) FE boat finished yesterday. Setup was on point right off the bench. Quicker than I thought it would be! Throttle is a little different than the nitro tunnels I'm used to but got the feel for it pretty quick. Will be taking it to the real pond this weekend for some laps around some bouys.

Quick video of it's first run at Dover Park (Brandon Model Boaters Pond). Prop is an x445. I think CG still needs to come back about 1/4 inch.
Average esc temps after runs were around 100-110. Battery was around 95-105.
Recharges were putting around 2400mah back in after 9-10 lap runs.

Yes, Turnigy 4S 40C 5000's
I am going to be redoing the radio box. Are there any issues with the esc sitting right on top of the battery? It's pretty cramped for space, if it is ok for the esc to sit on top of the battery I will be home free.
Let me know.
thanks

I wouldn't think that would be a problem if they are both coming in at reasonable temps after running...

Are you not running an external antenna with the airtronics radio? I didn't see one.
