Ben,
interested in the LRP speedy - Is this for brushless? If so, wanna trade for a BJ motor and $$? or maybe a pair of BJs?

No sorry, it is only for brushed. You couldn't ask for a better brushed controller.

I am not doubting that. do you have a motor that would work well in a 1/10th scale rally? (along the lines of 4500-5000 kv)
and are you interested in the BJ motors? and/or other trade items?

I have the two brushed Orion motors that would work well with the LRP. If you're looking for brushless, check you PM.

Would that ammo be good for rio ep brushless setup ?
And is it 28mm or 36mm OD ?

Thanks.

This ammo motor should have enough power for a model that size. It all depends on what speeds you want to achieve and what other components you are considering running. Are you buying new components or using some you already have?

I'm not a mono guy and have never run a Rio, but for example, this motor can handle up to 4s and on 4s1p turning an X632 prop, you would see low-40s setup well. However, if you have cavitation or is not setup properly, you could see high motor temps. If you're only going to run sport, then it should be fine. If you're going to be running race water with lots of loading or skipping through the turns, then I think a 36mm motor would be more applicable. I would recommend running an ESC that would handle 80A constant with that setup and stick to full throttle with limited half throttle usage.

As stated in the description, it is a 28mm motor.
