Hey guys. I recently got an MHZ DOI, it is 54" long and it is running 2x 2215 1.5y motors. The props that came with it are x457's, L and R.

Should I purchase any other props for it? Maybe a pair for less aggressive boating?

Thanks

I think the next size down is the x450/3
available in L&R versions

then i think there is x447, both L&R versions

Well, I have some x453's on order from Andy Brown. They're cut down. I also ordered some x447's. These props were supposed to be for my Mystic C5000 M, with was 44" long. I think I will stick with the 453s for less aggressive boating.

Does that sound good?

do you mean 450/3 because they don't make a 453 ????

Yeah, the next up is a 457 I think. I had the 457's worked down to 453's.

How are you mate
I have the Same MHZ Cat - ICEBERG / Drambue- almost the same.......
I will run 2 2215 1.5y's
Props - Andy brown 457's L&R
Thunder power 65c - 10S
Etti 200's HV

I would go with the 457's - I think Jason ran these on that boat -

The 447's will be to small... -

Good luck - these Cats are great!!!!

Wow that is pretty similar! I just checked it out on the MHZ site. Looks like mine, haha. They're really great looking cats!

Mine has got the same motors, only with Schulze 40.160wk esc's. I'm gonna be running 2x 5s Hyperion G3 EX 45-90c per side. Or I think I'm gonna do 10s2p per side.

Yeah, the 447's are out of the question. I'm just wondering if it is worth waiting for the X453's? I might have to sell them here since I think it's too late to cancel.

Or should I keep them for running in chop or when I just don't feel like going really fast? Would they give me longer runtimes?
