Sweet! Record Trials, SAWS or heat racer???

If it's a heat racer, make sure you use the Shultze 40-160 so it can run in the Shoot Out if you come up this year.

Thanks guys.
She may pull double duty, I'll have to see how she handles the additional power.

Hi Alan,
The boat is over at a friends house but I have a gas unit in the shop.
I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Hello Mr Delk.
Glad to see you here sir.
This one is for FE. I've been racing one in LSG for a couple of years. I've done pretty good with it so I thought I'd give it a shot in FE.

Man come see us!!

Very nice Doug! :thumbup1:

I just finished my new t-mono,, it is a AC Razor 45 hull with 40/160 and Lehner 3060/10 powered by 10s2p G3 VX lipos.. Ran it for the first time last sunday, much more power than my Hurricane with HUFF mod-260..

What motor and etc are you setting it up with??

I picked that up at the local medical center, they were going to throw it out. It is a file cart that just happens to work perfect for transporting and storing up to five P size FE boats.

Thanks,
Man how did I miss that thread, she looks great Richard!
This one will get a 22 series Neu 10s2P G3s and 40.160.
It's going to be a few weeks before I get started. I'm building boats for entry fees and travel $$ at the moment.
Good luck with the Razer!

Hi Peter,
This one is still a virgin.
I ran a 22 series Neu with 10s 1p Hyperion 5000 45c cells and a 40.160 in the record boat. See pic.

Nice setup Doug (as usual). I noticed you're using the LIfe packs...notice any problems using them? Are you using the stock charging leads/ plugs? I have one ready for my P-Mono (Rico)....Just curious...

Thanks Kent,
I soldered on a standard servo plug.
I like these packs for SAWs. For oval racing I'd opt for more capacity.

Wow more capacity than 850mah? Are you having to charge the pack back up after a couple of runs? I was hoping that would be plenty for racing (at least three heats). I bought another one today to have as a backup...I should be good now...

Thanks Doug! :thumbup1:

Doug,

I hope you don't mind me asking, but which hull did you set the record with? The Speedcraft or the Seaducer? The last pic you showed looks a Seaducer in a different color than the Speedcraft at the beginning of the thread.

Hi Tyler,
Man I forgot all about this thread.
I set the record with the Seaducer. The Speedcraft hasn't been touched yet.

Thanks Doug,

So a 44" seaducer, 2230 1Y, older style 40.160, 10S1P 45C hyperions and I a reasonable prop to run 86mph average.

Yes sir. I'd tell ya the prop but you'd laugh and tell me to grow some. I'm working on a box of beryllium for Sept.
Baby steps, I want to break this boat slowly.:laugh:
