Yes it's one of the best if not the best avalable to us. I suggest you pick one up from Mr Hill @ www.battlepack.com. The service is as good as OSE. My last order was @ my door in 2 business days. The price is the same.

I have it and am very happy with it. I can now leave my power supply home when I go off road racing. Built in balancer is a nice addition as well.

I have been dragging my feet on Lipo. I'm set up and have access to the Hyperian Line. But have been waiting to clear up insurance issues before taking on all that stuff. I have it planned for early 2008.

Hold your horses !! Check out the new CellPro 10S from FMA :buttrock: ; available late January. Dooz swears by the 4S ; I've checked out the 10S & I like it way better than my Hyperion with the LBA 10's.

Props my new Hyperion has intergrated balancing. I used it last night for the first time and was shocked how much faster it broght my packs up than my ICE. Not to mention watching it cycle between charging and balancing constantly. It's a very impressive system.

The Hyperion will only do 6S, so I'd need 2 to get one boat running ; the CellPro 10S will do 2 4S packs at once for a projected retail of $ 189.95. Your new Hyperion sounds cool however

Herr Proper and myself both have Hyperion chargers. We both use bigger packs. We are both in line for the 10S. It can charge TWO 5S packs at up to 8 amps if necessary.

I have boats that require four 5S packs. So I can use two of these per boat!!!

I hear rumors of a similar Hyperion, but nothing has been announced.

Yeah that FMA charger is a great fit for you. I considered the 6s limit when I was shopping. I came to the conclusion I'd never need to charge anything over 6s. What really made the sale was the built in AC power supply & the 139.99 price tag:). I will be looking to cellpro for a couple LVC's very soon.

I have the 1210i version and love it. Best charger I've owned. Totally programmable, unlike less expensive chargers. Don't skimp on this one buy it and you'll enjoy getting 100% charges every time. Get a Pyramid 12 Volt, 12 Amp Power Supply and you'll be in business.

If you are looking to charge LI-PO and NI-MH buy Hyperion. For LI-PO only TP or FMA Cellpro. I have 2 Cellpro 4S chargers and they are superb. The new 10S is what I would buy today.

the hyperion eos1210i will charge up to 12s.
I have used the cellpro and hyperion charger they are both good quality chargers. I would pick and choose either one!

So basically if I want to charger both nimh and lipo batteries the Hyperion EOS 1210i is the way to go. And if i want to charger two lipo packs need two balancer then correct. How about if I just buy two Hyperion EOS 5I DP would that be the same thing It comes out cheeper. Can I put to chargers in one 18amp power supply .

Ryan, Yes you can use both chargers on one power supply, as long as the PS will support your current drain. a 18 amps power supply is pretty good size. That will support two EOS 5i's no problem! Those chargers do 5 amps max/each.

For what you are doing, and it sounds like you wanna save a few bucks too, the two 5i chargers, with two LBA10 balancers will work well IMO.

I ordered two of those 5i's, and one of the 1210i's so I can charge anything i'll ever have of any size, at up to 10 amps, and up to four packs at the same time. I don't really think I will ever need to charge anything above 6s, I don't think you will either. But I like the charger, so I got it.

For me, this is the perfect charger. Trouble is it is not yet available here in the US and none of my usual sources can even give me a clue when they might have it.

However, I can tell you exactly when it will be available, the day AFTER I buy something else.!!

ya that always happens. it saids charges 1-16 cells of nimh is that for each 4mm output so it chargers a total of 32 cells i assume

here it shows all the funtion of the charger and it seems the EOS 0610i DUO does
not discharge the battery pack . that make me not want to wait for it.
