Yup I am the polishing guy. I can polish and return mail it in 2 working days excluding sundays. I charge 35 for a lower like dannys and you pay shipping both ways. Mike yours is free for all you have done for me

Thanks Jason, but I would pay you. Your time doing work like that is valuable!

Ron, glad you like it. You got lucky as yours came clearcoated. I hated selling the hull that was going to be my personal "final edition" hull, but like Little Boy Blue/ Andrew Dice Clay said, "Hey, he needed the money!" haha

Danny,
Glad to hear your mom is doing better. I hope she gets to come home this week.

Hazegry,
I'm getting ready to order my O.S. Lower unit. I was thinking of having it shipped directly to you for polishing. Are you cool with that? I figured it would save me from shipping it back out to you. $25 plus shipping is a steal:beerchug:
Thanks,
Tom

I finally got some free time to mount the OB on my PS295. I hope to get more done soon. I made a promise not to touch the cowl anymore. No, that's not the prop I will be running. Yes, I know I need a cooling jacket!

Thanks Hazegry (http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/member.php?u=4243) for polishing it for me.

Heres a pic.2 stingers and one strut/rudder set up.The strut/rudder has a polish to it,but Id like it all to look like the leg you did in the above pic.I have a couple motor mounts and 3 stuffing tubes, but Im undecided on those for now.I just want the stingers and strut/rudder system done. Also the bracket on the back of the boat needs it too.

Returned from a holiday and found this on my doorstep....

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg241/Jedi_Master1/Posty002.jpg

My photo doesn't do it justice. It has an absolute mirror finish. :cool2:

I would recommend Jason's work to anyone. He's great to deal with and I'm grateful to have his services available so that I can obtain items like these.

For everyone who is getting an PS-295, if you don't have a lower unit that looks as good as this, you're not doing it justice!!:roflol:

Cheers Jason!:thumbup1:

hazegry

Euro is short for urethane thats the base coat or color i can use waterbased autmotive paint or auto air but I prefer urethanes. I use 2k or 2 part clear if you're gonna use it wear a resparator and cover all exposed skin

Seems cheap for all the work you're doing...kudos.
Are you using a tumbler or doing it by hand?

hazegry
02-19-2012, 04:58 PM
Well guys it looks like I am back in biz so send me your stuff and I will make it shine, Coming soon prop work, Colors for hardware (dyeing process) and painting services. I am also looking at putting out a few small micro kits 13"17" range right now thinking of a rigger and mini cat that would be cheap and easy to put together.

Kieth I am doing it by hand with a slow speed polisher prices depend on the individual piece and how complicated it is. Tumblers can polish ok but take longer than my process and I have seen them do a number on material if your not careful. Keith you caught me in the middle of revamping the thread and adjusting the lower leg price (polishing supplies went up) if you want one done I will honor the original price since thats what you saw.
