I was about to Balk and say no but, I just had an offer on a motor I've been trying to sell on RC groups.
After seeing the results of what people can do with the 1717 on 6S, I'm impressed with Castles motors... Now if I could get a deal like this on one of those new esc's, I could really test out Castles muscle.

Tell him " suck it up princess" Not much you can do Ray I have sent items the same day yet they arrive a week apart , then if it gets nabbed by their customs it can be another few weeks while they sit on their duffs till they get to it........:cursing:

Mine should follow soon since they are coming from your direction.
This was my last correspondence with Lior from Isreal:
LIOR:
Hello sir i just came back from cebit in germany and holland
And i see that i dident got the arc motor yet
What is going on i am starting to get worry
ME:
That makes 2 of us. This would be the first loss I have ever had in over 10 years buying & selling things around the world, that is if it is lost which we don;t know.
I know it has been longer than I quote, 3-1/2 weeks now since I shipped it. The only reason I can think of is because of the political unrest in the general area, Egypt and Libya, etc, etc...
I know it isn't much consolation but, I'm in the same situation. I bought a $230 Castle 2028 motor from a person in Australia over 3 weeks ago. He quoted me it would take 3 weeks. I have seen nothing yet and I did not ask for tracking or shipping would have cost me $40-$50. I gave you the option of tracking for $43 shipping but, you did not respond to that offer.
It looks like we both need to be patient a little longer.
I am very sorry but, we are both at the mercy of the postal system.
What more can I do?
Ray
Now I wish I bought several more Castle 1717 motors, they are sold out of the car version today, drag.... or at least my buddy is going to be peeaved off, lol....

It drove me up the wall when I would get an email " Its been 10 days and it not here yet can you phone the post office".................. I am sure Steven gets that all the time .
I just sent a mount to Turkey March 04/11 and I am getting the where's the mount already emails...............:cursing::cursing:
When I order something I don't get worried till its been 30 days ,

Ray are you going to machine your own cooler for your 2028
This took me almost a whole day + some to make so probably 8 hours or more in addition I had to build a jig to machine the fins off of the motor to make the jacket fit propery , it is the thinnest walled jacket I have ever done for myself . There was not enough inner dia on the aluminum tube to machine off to make this fit , cutting of the motor fins was an absolute must to make this one happen . If I had to make another one of these I would shoot myself in the head first but anyways here it is .

Works of art like this take time.
I have to wait until monday to get new orings for my simple cooler for the 2028. BTW, I did finally Rx mine on Friday!!!
I am simply working with 2.5" .0625" wall Aluminum tubing If I can get the right O rings. All I need to machine is the end faces & polish besides drilling & tapping holes for water in/out.
Just a tube, like a 1717 cooler I machine from 2.5" tubing, .25o" wall. Bore out .060" from inside and then just slice off the outside.
