Greetings,
I wanted to share my experience If you use rechargeable batteries, as I do, and this is an excellent charger. La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RSOV50/ref=oss_product
I've had it for a month now and it's great. It's easy to use. Key features that I like are:
Charges NiCad/NiMH AA and AAA rechargeable batteries
Features 4 modes: charge, discharge, refresh, and test mode
Charges both AA & AAA rechargeable batteries simultaneously
4 separate LCD displays for simultaneous readouts
Overheat-detection to prevent over-charging
You can leave the batteries in the charger and they will trickle charge
Adjustable charge rates
I used to charge my batteries on my Bantam E-Station but this is much better!
Also, if you use LSD (Low Self Discharge) batteries with this charger you will have an excellent setup.
Cheers~
