Hey guys we were gonna put a 7XL in this but have changed our minds. I know nothing about Neu motors but would like to try. I want to get everything from OSE like usual. We are not switching to lipos yet but it will be run on 14 IB4200's. With Speedmaster hardware. What Neu motor with Hydra 120 ESC? Any help would be great we are clueless. Thanks

IMO 1515 1y 240 hydra 4s lipo would get it rocking

the 1515 1Y is the motor for the hull in my opinion but the Hydra 120 will probably not cut it

:tongue_smilie: Neu motors DESERVE lipo's.... They have feelings of low self esteem, if not run on lipo!:roflol: The 1515/1Y is a great motor, I run it on 4S2P in a couple diff. set-ups... Kick-A** motors!!!!

Actually I bought the hull, radio and hardware myself so dad is paying for the rest. Trying not to take him completely broke. We are just sport running anyway. Dont want to buy junk and have to do it twice though.

Well, I would whisper to Dad..."how about $400 for a new charger and batteries" Then you have to include the cost for the NEU. I personally would take it bit by bit, if cash is not plentiful. I perceive you have the hull and hardware only at this time. What do you want from your Triton...SAW type speed...offshore....oval racing...cost ?
Let us know and the guys will steer you in the right direction.

:iagree: I run a 1515 1Y / Hydra 240 / 4S in my 33" Delta Force ; 58.1 mph with a M447. Mike's right, go with a Hydra 240 for more headroom ! And yes to lipos ! Hold on to your hat !! :buttrock:

Alright guys we are going to run the Neu 1515 1Y motor with the Hydra 240. We were going to get the battery from Maxamps.com We dont know which 4S pack to get. If you guys could take a look and give me a suggestion that would be great. Thanks alot.
