Came across the item at FINEDESIGN -http://www.funrcboats.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=21FDMTT
and FULLERS FAST ELECTRICS -
http://www.drcwebservices.com/ffe/hardware.htm

- They call a Turbo Trans - My understanding is that it increase the torque and therefore the speed of a stock motor allowing the boat to run with bigger props and offcourse travel Fatser!!!

Has any used this product in any boat?
and would it work in a Supervee?

Can any one assist me with this thought?

Years ago when batteries and motors where less powerful, it was a needed item in most boats. Today its not as widely used unless you want to switch gear ratios for longer runtime with less speed or shorter runtimes with more speed. But that can be done to a lesser extend by changing prop sizes.

Its not old tech, its just imo its really not needed with most of the high power bl motors out there. It works quite good in lots of setups where the motor is undersized a bit. Or if you have a motor with low rpm, it can be used in overdrive to bring the rpms at the prop up.
