If anyone can help me:
1. I need to know the inside diameter of the Speedmaster 20 and 21 strut
so I can choose the right diameter brass tube that will have a tight fit on the strut.
In the shop the recommendation is to use the following sizes:
7/32" brass for Octura .130 + Teflon tubing
1/4" brass for Octura .150 + Teflon tubing
The thing is that is not possible to fit two different sizes of brass tubing in the same strut (at least without getting a gap between the brass tubing and strut).
The setup will be installed in a rigger.
2. It would be also helpful if someone could give me the dimensions A,B and C on the picture - for both struts 20 and 21 (hydro version).
3. I plan to use a .150" + Teflon tubing or a .078" wire drive if I can get
the right size/combination of Teflon tubing. On some struts that are not
available anymore I was able to use the .078" (2mm) wire drive with a
4mm OD/3.1mm ID brass tube that was lined with a 3mm OD/2.6mm Teflon tubing - a perfect fit for the 2 mm wire drive.
4.
Any info on the Octura Flex Hex 5mm to to .078" Motor Couplers ?
Do they grab the wire enough or is it better to use simple couplers
with set screws.
Thanks.
