I just got my P1 today and started working on it. Took avery thang out. Going to put orange and black carbon fibre in it. Geting a ul-1 motor and 120 esc. I drilled out the outdrive and put a replacement bushing for the speed master 3/16" Stinger struts in it works pretty good. Thats all i got done tonight. Will put up pics soon.

Ul-1 motor has tons of power and the 120amp esc will be perfect. I'm assuming your gonna be running 4s lipo? What size prop are you looking at using?

So how big is that P1 hull really?? They say 35" but then the specs page say's 31", which is it? Are they considering it 35" overall including the hardware? I love that scale Fountain look, very cool boat!

yes 35" includes hardware. it is a hair under 31" and yes very cool!! I would suspect 642 a minimum, but still do quite well, hopefully in the 40s. love to watch overhaul threads...

Yeah, inside the hull. Is it from the stock boat? I'd tear it back out and strap the batteries right to the floor to get the center of gravity lower.

o ok that wood......lol I put it in there to keep the bats dry and so i can run 1 4s pack or 2 2s packs.

It is because it is an inline rudder that it doesnt turn well. An offset rudder will make it run much better.

your right about that. I will try the big rudder first and if no better i will offset it
