A thread for all those Vids we make of our Miss G's :rockon2:

Please post your setup so we can do a visual comparison from stock to upgraded. My Miss G is completely stock so we can use this as a reference.

Are ya using the stock rudder location also?, i know you said all stock but was wondering cause i really didnt see any bounce going on, i finally got to make a good run friday with mine, all stock except for rudder kit, man, that was one fun run.....did note m/g was dancing on the hulls left and right, i was in very mild chop waters....more like ripples, and she preformed really sweet, when i got into some glass by edges of shore she just planted and ran smooth, straight, and a little rooster!! Thinking of moving the prop shaft in toward the bottom some more but dont know....need to buy a gps and then play with it

Yes , stock location . I was foolin around with battery placement and ended up with them about an inch forward from the end of the tray. Not as much bounce or so it seems . I think alot of it is water conditions. lol

On a side note ,,, we had 2 Miss G;s in the water today . I got caught in my buddies wake and fliped . He pushed me back to shore :sinking-guy: The right battery tray was completely let go from the hull. I used some fiberglass matting to attach it back on . I did the other side while I was at it .

I'll play along. Stock with a x642. First run out of the box (after changing connectors, motor timing). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsZmdN6FsIs

*Runs tons better with my new setup, no bounce. Video when it gets warm out*

after my maiden run on the new prop i noticed the shaft seems to be slipping out of the coller, sure enuff the dang thing was cross threaded from the factory and my teflon sleeve is now sliding out of the tube due to the prop shaft not being true in the coller, my hobby shop doent have a replacement in stock.......gonna be a trader....shhhhhh....and check some other shops in town, sure was a blast to run tho, 9 minutes to cut off so i kill her at 8, temps good.....they should be since im running in above freezing waters..ha ha, im still getting a little bounce but i dont think im gonna rid it completely. octura x642

Wondering if you got one of the original flex shafts that was wound backwards?? If you go back and review the posts on that subject you will know how to tell if it is defective from Proboat. They will replace it for free it is one of those.
Steve here at OSE has a very cool replacement kit that is complete with the teflon tube, and lock nut and they are usually in stock

Rudder is not offset. It's bouncing a bit because I have not adjusted the strut yet from the stock location.

This is what she looks like inside. The ESC is HUGE and I had to fold the wires over, carefully, and zip tie them to the water inlets so that the clear cover could go on.
