I seen it in a lot of boats and was thinking about may be doing mine, where do you get it and how do you install it? I've serached a few online hobby sites.

I havent done it yet myself, but Im going to be ordering some Carbon/Kevlar hybrid from www.solarcomposites.com as well as "Kit A" from West System.Thats the epoxy. They also have regular carbon fiber too.www.kintecracing.com has carbon fiber sheets too.As far as I know, people use epoxy to bond the CF to they re hulls. As of now,I have the impression it gets put in the same as fiberglass does.I saturate the FG using the resin, and using the resin, wet the hull where the matting is going then, lay the matting in.Using a small roller,I roll the air bubbles out and at the same time it makes the matting nice and smooth.Thats how Im going to do the Carbon/Kevlar.Hope that helps and isnt confusing.
