Up for sale is a Mod and very fast SV27. The boat is a tank and is bullet proof. RTR just add radio and batts.

sold

* Two layers of 5 oz fiberglass added to hull bottom and sides.
* One layer of 5oz fiberglass added to hull deck and transom.
* All fiberglass flood chamber. Flood chamber works very well.
* Pink foam insulating cut to countours of bow for floatation and strengh.
* Two layers of 5oz fiberglass added to hatch.
* Floation foam is added to hatch.
* Bottom of hull is filled and sanded smooth ( blue printed).
* Hull is painted with rust-oleum #7592 gloss white that is baked on for a tough
finish and is easy to touch up if needed. The hatch is factory paint.
* Custom made AL motor mount that runs down the keel for added strengh.
* The motor is mounted very low in hull for better COG and a very straight drive
line.
* Very strong .098 piano wire drive.
* Rudder is upgraded to one that has cooling hole on prop side for better water
flow.
* Rudder has extra Al support braces for add strength. The speed this boat is
capable of the rudder needs extra support.
* Strong 8xl with new bearings.
* Thrust bearing.
* Himodel 200a esc w/bec that is water cooled and is seeled in jb weld for water
proofing. (Comes with program instructions.)
* Al Steering srvo bracket.
* B&S parther SS 220 prop.

Doby, Thanks for the kind words.

As for as speed. I had this gps with my eagletree at over 60mph. That is why this boat is built so tough and with a flood chamber. It can take flip after flip or dunk after dunk and come back for more and right side up. I call this boat Superflip. Once you hold this boat in you hand you can just feel the weight and strength of the hull.

Larry, You dont want this it is a fast single dirve. You only like slow twin drive boats.

Hi, any interest in trading hull for hull. I have an H& M no step #2 with flotation chamber installed in very good condition. I got this hull from Sailr last year. Send email address for pictures if interested. Thanks BG

Thanks for the offer but I will decline. I think I am set on building a Rico mono. I don’t know why I am selling this boat and want to build another to take its place. I don’t have time to run all the boats I have. I have many RC boats and 2 full size boats (22ft wakeboard boat and an 18ft AL flat bottom with an outboard jet). My big boats did not get enough use this last summer so why do I need another toy when I don’t have time for the toys I have already. My wife tells me I have issues.:blah: Yes dear. You are right dear.

I can help you with that, let me come pick it up and run it for you:bounce:
In the event you decline this offer as well then....bump for your sale
Mike

Yea that will work out great. How am I going to explain to her I need to buy another rc boat because you are playing with this one. I know I do the same thing I always do. Not tell her. :zip-up:I am going to have the Rice made up with a white gel coat so she would never know it’s a dif. boat.:Shame_on_You:

clever if it works. On a serious note what cells with that motor pushed this hull to 60mph?

suckmywake

This boat is capable of 60mph but is does have tendencies of taking off at that speed. Any SV is capable of doing 60mph but a stock SV hull will spend most of the time upside down and will not survive the aftermath of smacking into the water hard more than once. That is why this boat is built so tough and with a flood chamber. It can take hit after hit. I was running 6 warmed 2200mha batts. 30C at 3P. I would recommend running two Turnigy 2s 5000mah nano 45/90c batts. The nano’s will fit in the boat very nice.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge and experience. Now I really want the boat. But Christmas has already done a job on my disposable funds...they have been disposed of.

Any interest in selling the hull and hardware only. You keep the motor, esc and prop. LMK BG

I will split up but motor and esc will have to move first. I know hull would go quickly by itself. I now only want to run 6s so motor is no good to me anymore. Times are hard but I thought $250 shipped was a good deal considering how much time is in this build. I know it is only a SV but don't think you will see another one like this again. You can buy and allways part out.

Does anyone have any interest in buying this motor and speed control for $80 and perhaps the prop. Call me crazy, but I would like to see this boat run with my new, cheap castle neu in it. LMK BG
