Wii hacking

I would like to put homebrew on my wii becasue I want to play dvds but I really don't understand much about it.

Talkin to the wrong guy here. I just got the new xbox slim / kinect bundle. I don't understand all this crap. I did get netflix working on it tho. :doh:

From my understanding you need a chip soldered to the board to do that as well as burned games.
I haven't heard of any other way to do it so if someone else has I'd be interested.

I got the homebrew installed, just can't get dvdx to work, its great to play all the old nes games
