Brought to you By Osborn model kits.
It's official Rigged Insanity 2.0 is here
AOA is 2.5 deg and the right sponson is flat and the left has a 1.5 Deg camber
The size of battery and motor are real life ( larger by .5 to allow for extra shrink wrap) and a 1527 to show you what size a motor will fit if desired !!)
it is a N2 rigger to run 2s2p But you can fit 4s2p in the hull with out a problem.

The market badly needs a 2s and 4s rigger. I have been waiting for Derek to make one for a while. I spoke to Derek about getting Peters stuff, but I guess that feel through.

Yeah i doubt we will be seeing that stuff.
but really the matrix (12 cell rigger) is now a 2s rigger and the blizzard is just to small for racing.
This is the 2s, the 4s will be along soon after It is just hard for me to afford to power the 4s so there for if i build it it will be a while for me to get testing done.
But there should be a 4s along some time Don't worry! it will be . 34 inches and a 4.5 inch tub with adjustable booms ( wider/narrow beam)

PUT me down for a 4s 34" rigger kit....I will do some beta testing for you guys if you like. I have been waiting for a true electric kit after I decided to scrap the idea of converting a larger nitro hull over to electric.

I don't like riggers really"but". I like this one because it looks like a full scale hydro I ran across on line. It has really nice lines and the canopy gives it a some what scale look.

Thanks Tom, and Raydee for your offer
I liked how it looks as well And the sponsons being set back is hot as well i think.
I am not sure when we are going to cut the next one But it will be soon.
and i will be running it once i get it rigged with a custom( Steve i need a custom Neu Derek i believe will be getting hold of you soon) Neu motor and some hardware
should be good.

The sides and Bow deck are engraved Rigged insanity by OMK , If the person doesn't like that they can just swap out the sides so that it is on the inside and can be painted or done what to like any other boat.

well guys I am going to cut a kit this thrusday and set it up for heat racing.
I will be ordering a Neu motor from Steven for the boat, It will be a 1512 motor ( Steven can you get that motor ?) So it is just waiting on the motor from there,

I will post a build tutorial on it , I have to make a couple anyway because i need it to do up the instruction book.

Once all the fun stuff is done, I'm sure Steven will be ready to stock up and sell them to all you guys !

Looks like it's going to be one amazing rigger! That's one Flux Capacitor of a motor. Just curious if you'll be using 0.187 flex cable. I heard that the Neu 1527 can mangle a 0.150 flex cable and all its hardware with it. Good Luck!

Raydee

I think he is use using the 1527 in the print just to show that it will fit....I don't think that is the motor that he will use in a 2s boat BUT I may be wrong.

Eyekandyboats
12-02-2007, 02:18 PM
Well i will not be using a 1527 for this boat, because it is just to big of a motor, The reason i put that one there in the drawings is to show that"this is the size of motor that will fit"
I plan on using a Neu 1512, But i also plan on using a .187 shaft for this boat even with a .12 shaft.

I may even do a wire drive But i am not to sure on that

Beat me to the punch Raydee.
BTW i saw your matix video. that is going pretty good,
I hope to break run at 65mph with this boat in a oval trim.

Taylor... You are a busy guy!

Is the 1.0 version you show here for P/E2??? What are the dimensions??

Eyekandyboats
12-11-2007, 03:39 PM
well i wanted this to be the E1 version. But after the flying stuff on MMM i thought well why not and changed it.
This one is 32 inches in total with a 30 inch tub length. and a 4 inch tub beam with a 18 inch total beam.
you can fit a 1512 in there with out a bubble But a 1515 is cutting it . The boat will have a bubble on it.
I plan on making a E2 boat a tad bit bigger then this and with a 4.5 inch wide tub

BTW the motor in the first pictures ( short can ) is just there to show where it goes! way to small of a motor for this boat.

Sounds like you'll be prepared either way the "voting" goes... You do very nice work... I'm envious of the equipment and drawing skills you have to work with!!

Thank you Darin,
I may just put out 3 riggers from 27 to like 34 and let the people decide and not "classify " boat as a E1 or E2. you know.

Hopefully soon you will be able to get your hands on either this or the sport hydro.

There are plenty of people out there who like to sport run these as well, so it sounds like a good plan... at least until we see what we will ultimately be working with...

Hopefully soon you will be able to get your hands on either this or the sport hydro.

Either would be great, though I'd have more racing available with the Sport... The riggers just aren't that big in our club any longer... I have excellent power systems and hardware for either...
