I have been doing graphics, printing & working with vinyl for over 10 years.
I am fairly new to this forum but have been on jrcbd for a while now and have some boat wraps in the works which I will post some pics of soon.

In the mean time here are a few things I have done, if you would like some pricing feel free to shoot me a PM or post here and we can discuss details.

I can make any and all decals & wraps as well as scale decals for any & all boat hulls.
I can also make full size decals & wraps & banners for vehicle & trailers.
You name it I can make it!

Steve,

Check out Jeff's photo album. He did the vinyl for my 1:6 Pay n Pak boat stand. Communication with Jeff is very good which I feel is essential to getting the product right in this business. Highly recommended.

Appreciate the kind words Bryan!

Here are some pictures of some of my recent work.

As Bryan said I made the paynpak decals for his trailer not for his boat although I easily could have made them for the boat.

Looks cool. Do you have any photos of the process? How hard is it, how do they go on? I know pricing is a tough one, but could you cite a couple of examples and what they cost? i hate asking for a quote because i would guess it would be too expensive, or I would mess it up putting it on. so any quidelines to installation or pricing might help generate some real business and weed out semi-interested request.

just an idea, but they do look great!

Thanks,

I do not have any photos of the process but I will be putting a wrap on my mono here in the next few days & I will take some & post them up.
There are some great videos on youtube showing the different applications for lettering & "wraps" not necessarily on boats but still can hep people understand the process if they have never done it before.

The Dupont crackerbox was installed by my customer who had never installed a wrap before & it was a 4' boat.

Decals are not as expensive as you might think obviously each job can vary on the actual product but a COMPLETE WRAP for a 3-4' boat is typically around $100 range give or take.

I will post a thread on actual process of installation & try to provide some photos for examples. They are not as difficult to put on as you might think. The vinyl I use s a premium grade vinyl meant for vehicle applications & is very rigid so it is meant to be heated when necessary to go over contour curves. It also has an air release technology which makes it so there is zero bubbles. When installing it you can also pick it up if you have not applied to much pressure to it without stretching it so if something does happen when installing it you can adjust it as needed.

I can help explain the process as each boat take s a little different approach when installing them to get the best results. I am confident most people can do it on their own without much if any issues. I can also make them in pieces sometimes rather then one large wrap so it is easier to install.

Here is a couple photos of my custom windshields on a wood whip.

Hey Monojeff, I sent you a pm today concerning your wraps did it arrive? I have money in hand waiting to spend it.

Oh in your description you indicated that a 3 to 4 inch wrap is $100.00 but that picture of the gordon boat sure looks bigger than 4 inches.

Jeff,
you can post up the proofs you did for my Skunkworks if you want...
i will post the pics of the finished boat after i get them, and get them installed.

Guys, Jeff is great to work with, very good communication and very helpful. the prices are more than fair when you consider even doing a " plain and simple " paint job on your boat.
i can tell you for a fact i just spent over $50.00 on paint and materials to just to do a simple job on my JAE Rigger, that does not include decals i have to have done...

I will leave it up to Jeff to post the price of my " High Voltage " 1 off custom wrap, if he likes.

Thanks for everything amigo, cant wait to get them ..
Giz.

Price was $80 which included shipping for this one. :thumbup1:

Cant wait to see final pics as they are always better looking then the proofs!

I rec'd the wraps for our Intruder build today ---- and the quality is first rate! If any of you have concerns in dealing with someone long distance ... this is one man you have no worries with!
Heavy guage, crisp, and clear! Now if I don't screw up laying them down we'll be good to go!

I am asking Jeff to resize the black horse for us because it over powers the bow --- my mistake not Jeff's.

But this is going to be great!!!!

Thanks or the compliment.
That size wrap is around $70-$80.
As for time to install it depends on the person installing it.
They are installed dry def do not wet the digital vinyl it is not needed.
There in an air release backing on the vinyl which makes it so it goes on smooth and can be picked up if needed while installing to reposition or heat if necessary.

Very nice work Jeff. I may send you a few outboard tunnel cowls to wrap in the fall.

Cowls can be tough to do a full wrap on if they are flimsy at all.
They need to be rigid for the vinyl to stick properly and not pull itself loose or have the cowl fighting as they shrink and expand over time.

Let me know when your ready and we can see if we can work something out.

Jeff. Need the Miss Geico vinyls for a 37 inch cat. Some people are putting proboats stock decals and they look silly, too small. Can you do? Need the lizard on the top too.

I already made a set up for the 32" fightercat hull waiting on pics of them installed.

Jeff,
I think I am ready to go ahead do a wrap on my FE34. I want the look to use blue/grey/black/white color scheme. I really like the graphics on the traxxas sparton and would like to follow that kind of "look". Could you quote me a price and also send me your address, because I am going to mail you the hull (since I don't trust myself to do the wrap). I will pay the shipping costs of course. Here is a link to my boat, http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/showthread.php?25096-Insane-34-quot-Mono-Build&highlight=insane
Let me know what you can do..

I'll PM you and we can discuss details.

Jeff, want to do a FighterCat Wrap?

I have a 43" Sprint Cat that could use a little decoration. You have my logos and the font is called Backslash (TTF)
Primary Colors: Black, White & Red with sparkles. Usually a sequins holographic in there somewhere.
Let me know what you come up with. No rush, I'd say by August sometime.

Email me a picture of the complete deck and side view make sure they are straight and even so I can scale them to size.

Jeff here are the measurements. Way more than you asked for, figured it could not hurt.

The two you asked for 33 3/4" long, 9 1/2 wide.

1. bow to stern width at increments:
4" - 4" wide, 8" - 6 3/4" wide, 12" - 8 9/16 wide, 15" - 9 1/4" wide, 16 5/16 - 9 1/2" wide. Remains that width the rest of the boat. Also the hatch starts at 16 5/16" point.

2. Side of boat
4" - 5/8" tall, 8" - 7/8" tall, 12" - 1 1/8" tall, 16 5/16" - 1 1/2" tall. Stays that height until the last 1 inch of the boat where it tapers down to 1 1/4" tall at the transom

3. Hatch
16 1/8" long, 7 1/4" wide at front, 7 3/8" at back. Measured twice very subtle taper.

Well I am giving up on you Jeff. I have been patiently waiting for months for something to happen and I finally got a proof but only after I contacted you several times to see if you had something or had completely forgotten about me. Then I ask for it to be modified slightly and again silence forever even though I contacted you several times. If I wanted decals for my snowmobile I would still be patient but by the time you actually get around to making mine and then shipping to me I am sure the lakes will be iced over. Don't get me wrong, not knocking your work as it is awesome however you should tell everyone that it may take several (3-4) months to get anywhere as you are busy with your real job and really do not have time to work on this hobby.

I don't know why you couldn't have PMd me instead of writing all this here so we could sort things out.
I admit your decals have taken me longer then I would have liked.
I have a few other people that have been waiting just about as long as you for me to finish things up.
You had stated when we first started that you were in no rush which wasn't 3 or 4 months ago it was in May when we sorted out what you wanted and how to go about it.
Past few months have been busy for me as I do have a real job and do this stuff on the side.
I do not have all day long to sit at the computer and work things up for people, I have a list of over 30 people that I am currently working on things for.
Some take longer then others.

Your proof was finalized last week and sent over to you and you replied back and wanted something edited.
I was very busy with work this week and it was my birthday along with a holiday weekend so I have not been by my computer all week to work on things.
I was going to PM you today or tomorrow to try to finish things up.
I will do so now and we can hopefully work things out as I have spent a good amount of time working on your graphics for you wrap and do not want to lose all the time and effort.

I will post the pic I sent to you here so everyone can see it.

Everyone that has been messaging me lately I have let know it might be a while till I can get to them.
Typically it takes me anywhere from 1-2 weeks to work something Custom up if it is a large wrap or something similar.
Then it can take about 1-2 weeks to get them printed and shipped out so typically most would be a month for a complete custom order unless it is something I can work up easily. As I said I have a bunch of things I am working on or people and I am only 1 person and only have so much time in a day to do things.

Thanks

Appreciate the compliment.
I have had a few people inquire about making this wrap up and as I have told others I would prefer not to duplicate the same exact wrap over again to keep things custom and one offs.
I could change the colors or move some stuff around a bit and be ok with that. We can chat though PM and see what we can work out.

Also just as an FYI for everyone or anyone interested in decals or wraps over the next 2 weeks I will be extremely busy with my actual job.

I do this on the side as a hobby and to help support this great hobby we are all part of I will not have time to work up custom orders.
I will be available to discuss things if you shoot me a PM or email.
I can probably work up simpler stuff like lettering or windshields or smaller decals but full wraps or more custom stuff I will not have the time for as I already have a few things I need to finish up with.

I will post here soon as I have more free time and can take on more projects.

I've ordered up a new hatch so I guess some painting will be involved but just the standard hatch configuration I'm thinking unless you've got some other ideas.I may paint the hull pearl white and see if you can do some sort of Pink Floyd prism decal for it.I had a Graupner Systems painted like this years ago and wouldn't mind Version 2.

Big thanks to Jeff. I got these a while ago and finally got the boat done about two weeks ago and it painted today. I went with a little different checker than what Jeff had in the decal package. I was originally going to paint it and decided I did not want to put that much effort into it as this is a race boat for our new stock twin drive or STD as we call it in the club. So eventually its going to get beat up, but it looks good until then. Im also not using the hatch shown as Im laying up a different one w/ some changes. :spy:

I may need to start since I have not had much time to work on things for people lately!

Sorry guys I am getting caught up some now!

Check out the new mock up for hatch covers and turbine vents!

Another scheme I get a lot of interest in is the Aquamania decals which I have worked up thanks to a friend who helped me get them sized correctly.
Some of you have already seen this but here it is for others to check out.
I can scale them up or down for any size or type of hull you might want.
The grey and black faded part would not be provided it would need to be painted or left out and I could change the colors around accordingly.
I might be able to make the this piece out of vinyl with a little tweaking but its easier and better IMO if painted.

Sad to say the second voyage out we lost on of the girls to the River. She failed to have her PFD on and was thrown from the boat when he hit a wave. Happy to say they all have new PFD's now.

Jeff, Aquamania decals look great. Trying to see if you can get the windshields shaped like the mystic boats. The ones you sent with the Aquamania vinyls curve up on the ends, like a Fountain P1 look.63197
Looking to get 3 windshields with the Mystic shape, basically not much curve to them.

I managed to get this decal off ebay from the Lethal Threat Biker Collection. Thinking it looks pretty cool. Looking for a few more vinyls and decal. Some straight forward 32" black and white vinyl stripes. Small eagle in flight for both sides. Also some FLYSKY and CASTLE decal/vinyls if you have any. Always like to give credit to the designers of the gear in the boat. Let me know, when you have some time free.

Jeff,

I realize that you are extremely busy, but I wanted to touch base with you regarding a decal I’d like for you to do for me. I sent a message to your Home Page on Tuesday, but have not received a reply as of now. Here’s a photo of the decal I’m interested in having you fabricate. The actual size would be 2.25 inches wide by 3.25 inches in height, & will be placed on the front tub deck of a small rigger I‘m building. No big rush on this, but please inform me if you can do this or not.

Here the Aquamania theme on my carbon fiber FC cat. Enjoy! I give a few shots of lacquer coating after applying decals. Thanks Jeff!

Definitely one of the coolest schemes I have ever worked up.
For those of you wondering the entire boat is covered in vinyl other then the red areas which were painted.
The black is all one piece then the rest is individual decals on top of the black.
This took me over 40+ total hours to work up the graphics and print and cut the vinyl.
It is close to scale as humanly possible.
Glad we got it all worked out and certainly will be one of my favorite boats look forward to seeing it in person and hopefully racing against it this year!

I do not have templates of all boats.
I can make/size them from photos of any boat.
Need a side shot and a birds eye view shot no angles straight shots.
