What a blast! Went and ran at the boat launch by my cousin's place. Bone stock MG other than a different rx, and a s&b x642. This boat is a ton of fun!

Thanks! I spent the majority of the first run TRYING to flip it. Seems near impossible on 4s with the stock power setup, though the water was smooth. This boat is incredibly stable for stock out of the box with nothing done but a prop slapped on.

Thanks man. I just cropped the high resolution version of the last picture I posted. It was kind of hard to see in that one.

Thanks bud. It's a bone stock mg other than a sharpened and balanced x642. Running on a pair of 2s Hyperion vx 4200 packs in series. I'd guess somewhere between 35 and 40, but no gps so I'm not sure.

Im running 8000 2s packs all stock, get around 11minutes run times with no heating issues, just waiting for the prop and bullet to come, already moved the rudder over, i really like this boat, had a bad time with the miss elam 26cc ......seemed i worked on it more than i played with it.....that got really old

Oh yeah? I've got a pair of 2s 8000mah smc packs I considered using (normally use them in my erevo), but didn't know how the MG would do with double the battery weight. I may try them if you are having good luck!

Thanks bud. These boats really are a blast! Gotta say pro boat / Darin did a great job with it! I'm hoping future RTR options are this nice. If only the hatch was fiberglass.

As I understand it, the only performance differences between your 4200 and 8000 mha lipos, will be the run time, and the price of the batteries.

Yes boomer thats correct other than the 8000 packs being a little more weight but run time is better for me, the packs im running are 68.00 bucks a pac, im getting a good break from my local hobbie shop
