I have two Feigao 540S "Short" Sized Brushless Motos coming for my twin outboard center console coming. I have a pair of 3000 mAh 11.1 volt LiPos I was going to use.

Question is there a better battery? Looking for a decent run time.

What is the c-rating on thos lipos? They wont give much run time. 5000mah 30-c lipos would be ideal IMO. I just bought a pair of flighmaxx 11.1 5000mah 30c lipos from hobbyking. They are cheap and work great!!

They are 20C continuos 40C burst. They are from my RC helicopters. I get about 10-15 minutes run time at various speeds on the stock 550 brushed motors. But these batteries cook the motors about every 3-4 runs.

So Basically you are good for 60amps constant and 120 amps burst.... its gonna be close.... you should be ok because you are running twins though too as it wont be a huge amp draw boat... but for safety sake your next set of batts should be as Forescott says... I would go with some 5000mah batts for your next set.... even 20c 5000mah would be enough but 30c 5000mah turnigys or zippy flightmaxes are reasonable cost and then you can use them in any other projects you may have down the road..... like that bigger twin you are talking about.... in fact get 40c 5000's and you can use them in parrallel and series projects you end up having.... :)
