Hello All,

I would like to hear some ideas and see some pictures in regards to building, a building jig. The whole pont is to have everthing straight, square, and flat. I am guessing one can be made using a tablesaw for getting straight accurate cuts. Also using the table to keep everthing flat while attaching the sides... Thoughts?!?!?!!?

Yup on the table saw. I also constructed mine out of 3/4 smooth MDF and glued and screwed the mdf surface on to plywood. This link shows one of my boats on the jig

Thanks for the reply Jim,

Does the surface of your building jig follow the curvature of the tunnel bottom, or is it completely flat?

Thanks
Mike

On most hydros the bottom is flat but there ia a break in the hull somewhere near the sponsons so it has about a 5 degree angle to it.
