Is this Tx capable of handling multiple models (ie. the MG and Stilleto) or do you have to bind each model when you want to use it?

Good question... second time I've heard it today. I actually don't know the answer, but will ask... my quick answer is "maybe"... you might be able to. Let me find out for sure...

If you're using the same type of receiver, and the same reversing, same trim, and same endpoints, etc., then yes you can do it w/o rebinding.

If you have to change any of the configuration, it would be much wiser to rebind.

Andy beat me to it. Here is the answer I just got:

Yes, you can bind to other Marine receivers (you’ll have to adjust settings as you mention). As long as you don’t change type of receivers (Marine to DSM or Marine to DSM2, etc) you won’t have to rebind. As soon as you change the type of rx the tx is bound to, then you have to rebind when you want to go back to the Marine rx.

So if I use mr3000 in both boats it will bind to both? Good to know

So this Tx can be bound to multiple spek marine Rx's without its having multiple model memory. I suppose you'd have to bind to the other marine Rx at least once but you'd be good to go after that. Cool.

You could then operate your MG and Stiletto simultaneously in that new class of IMPBA racing, DJ Multi-Hulls Spec... :rockon2:

Multi-Model is so that you can preserve the SETTINGS for each model separately. Using a single memory, you'll have to re-trim each model when you are using it. Wouldn't be so bad for sporting... wouldn't be very do-able for racing.
