I know the Thunder AC6 is a good charger but not always available in the UK, Any one know if the following are any good & value for money. Imax B6, GT power A6, GT power A8. Is it best to go for a charger that has mains supply built in or one that uses an adaptor for power supply. Martin.

Depends on your requirements and cash, I use a stand alone power supply.

I use the iCharger 206b along with the P350 power supply, and it is an amazing charger. Also, their customer support is outstanding. It is definitely worth the few extra bucks.

You can find them here...

With the iCharger, you can also parallel charge up to 6 lipo batteries with the parallel charging cables. You can charge a bunch of lipos as long as they are the same "s" amount, mah doesn't matter. I love that, since I can charge all of my bats at once and be ready to go :)
