I bought a used v16 schulze 40-160 to run in my big cat and it has a dented cap issue... I already have one brand new V16 40-160 and bought this used v16 to match it... so now I am looking for another non-dented cap...lol...so I can run my boat before the ponds freeze over here in Vermont.....

Does anyone have V16 40-160 they would sell???

why dont you just add a cap bank to the schulze, it will fix it just like the old ul1 esc bandaid fix

did you see my thread on my cap being dented? I would have to remove the dented cap too... not just add a cap board..?

i dont think you would have to worry about the dented cap as they are hardly gonna be working anymore

I had a ETTI 150 opto. All the caps completely popped. Added the cap bank, and it was better than new!

I don't have a etti cap board on hand!!! and I am going to camp tonight!!! I may just run this dented cap schulze.... with my luck I will have a fire on the water!

Did you bench test it?

I would not take the chance and run the Schulze with a suspect cap. If anything just snip the leads to the one cap and solder on one additional one or two additional ones to the battery leads. Also I hope you are not running the controller with the control wire wrapped around battery lead.

Not racemechanix I am definately not running it that way... Seller had wires wrapped line that for shipping.... That could definately cause some "glitches"... No pun intended.... But I am going to go the cap bank route for sure... Thanks all!!
