Thanks Steve, the Jolly just arrived via ups....She'll be RTR in a couple of hours...Here are some pics and If you noticed you'll see the BJ at the end of the counter, Thats why my cousin had to upgrade he got tired of his SV27 taking a Beating, Now I might have to upgrade to the dual drive after my first licking....

Wecome to the club:). Twins are not an upgrade IMO. Just a preference. I'll put my Jolly up against another one with 2 power systems equal to mine anyday. What are you puttin in it?

Welcome to the "Jolly" Club.
Twins may not be any faster but they sure have a unique wail and the twin rooster tails are so cool.
I'll be testing mine again this weekend with altered strut angles to try to keep her on the water.
Graham.

Well hopefully we'll do as we promised ourselves and video tape everything, last weekend we didn't race I had to work, But Hopefully tomorrow we'll have some GPS speeds, that BJ did 51.2mph half throttle but she started to lift off like a plane, running a 645, ammo 2600 and 6's 4500 lipo. we're gonna try 20 nimhs and see if it keeps here in the water....But the Jolly just added another variable in the quest for speed.

So what your saying is the Bj26 with your setup is a neer 100mph boat??? Thats a bold statment Sir.

A x645, 6s and 2600kv motor is 100mph in theory! Thats if nothing blows first.

just an FYI, running any brushless setup at half throttle is bad all around. It builds up way more heat than it would at full throttle. 51 mph from a BJ, wow what speed control were you using?

were are the pictures of those GPS readings! Those are insane speeds we need video

Wicked we used a gps on it, i just wanted to test one of my cousins 6s's and as it started to climb of the water like a plane before it flipped backwards we got 51.2....were gonna use 20 nimhs this weekend for weight and see what happend..we are using the Stock ESC

we are using the Stock ESC
Ok I'm lost. Are you useing the Jeti with ammo on s6 & going to use the stock esc in with 20 nimh? I thought the voltage limit on the PB esc is 21 or 22v??

Lol SJFE...On the Jolly with the 2-6s in parallel pushing a neu 1521/1.5d we are using the Jeti 200 amp....On the BlackJack we are using the stock esc with a 2600 ammo. Yea the voltage is 21 v...But hey if it breaks it wasn't meant tobe in there anyway..it's in the way of my maximum potential.... ;-)
