Miss Geico guys...
So now that a bunch of you have had a chance to run this boat and get a good feel about it, Is there any ways you guys can think of to make it outrun the BJ26's? I mean MG is all out bigger in design. I figure a few of you would have done had it over 70mph by now. Is it possible yet? Im just wondering. Its amazing to see how radical people get when it comes to building and destroying things of high expectations!

I have not heard of anyone twinning this one yet. As far as handling is concerned there is no comparison between the two. The MG will smoke the BJ 26 in the turns. Plus it looks way better also.

Like Darin keeps reminding us, at least it comes (came?) with a reversed cable so you can run counter-rotating props.

Pretty sure my MG will be getting a 4074 2200KV on 4S and a 642 or 445 to play with. I feel it should be close in the 60 range but I could be mistaken...nawww...I will gewt it there if I have to go 5S :)

BJ doesn't stand a chance compared to a MG. I only had a bj for a week and sold it because I didn't feel like dealing with the handling issues and mods to actually make it worthy I hated that steerable outdrive so freaking bad. I will not be getting rid of my MG anytime soon that for sure, this boat rocks :buttrock:

Well guys got my MG today , have droppped CC/NEU 1515 / 2200kv & a 240 swordfish ESC in it , all fits perfect & the lunch box lid still fits with room to spare .

will do some testing in the next few days , i dont think 60s on 5s will be a problem , well i hope so !!! will post my findings ...

I think the 2200kv on 5s should be right around 60-63mph. It would be hard to hit 60 on 4s without some kind of crazy prop.

Do you think the stock motor mount will handle that weight?
