Thats cuz I just got the last one! :hornets_nest: Sorry Salir! I'm trying to figure out a way to mod a 540 mount for the 5692 as well. Its a HEAVY motor!

Not sure there is any way to Mod a 540 mount. Once there is a water jacket on the 5692 it has a HUGE diameter. Steven discontinued the williams mounts doggonit!

I have seen a couple like that. A bottom mount would be nice though...

Where did you find that. It's not a williams. Already checked the South River site. Problem is you need rails with that one but that could be easily done.

The 5692 has an odd mounting hole dimension, 30mm. Most are 25mm or 33mm. A bit of drilling will fix that though.

The diameter with the jacket is going to be 2-5/8" +- a bit. Gonna take a tall and wide mount.

It probably will be best to install a pair of stringers. Especially with a motor mount without any rear support!

Have Peter whip up something for you guys not wanting a rail mount. He is more then capable to deliver something you will be proud of. He has done many interesting adaptations based on a flat bottom mount for riggers.

His 5692 rail mount is a work of art. Truely awesome and strong.

I just sent him a pm regarding one of his rail mounts. I was just gonna install a set of rails in my hull. Figured it would be fairly easy to do, and then I would'nt have to re-inforce the hull for a bottom mount.

And you thought the 5692 was big. The cooling can looks like a can of beans!!

Ok I've sold about 15 56mm motors and a bunch of jackets. Time for you guys to get building so we can see some of these in boats and what they can do!

I'm sure a bunch. I imagine well into the 3000 watt continuous area. But that's just a guess. I stuck one next to my sons drifter L that has a lehner 2250 in it and it dwarfed it. It wont even fit under the hatch.
