I just watched on the telly the president address a faithful flock on the nations and worldwide economic probems....dump this twit....having a prayer meeting with the gospel movement clapping at every remark behind his stage...theatrical nonsense...where are the leaders in the USA today and it is not Sarah and people that drink tea

I tried telling them that, but nobody would listen.

At least we get to dump half the problem this year, the other 1/2 + 2 (VP is no better) in two more.

Andy

PS - we didn't drink the tea. We dumped it in the bay.

I got this today. Much better to watch.

It was not even 2 hours after Steve Wynn's interview that he received a invitation from the tenants at 1600 Pennsylvania blvd, Washington , DC . 20500 wanting him to explain in person why he said what he said !!!

Below is a short interview with Steve Wynn. Some of you know of him. He's a Multi Billionaire, Hotelier and Real Estate Investor in Las Vegas , Asia and Macau . He's been a guest from time to time on all the network financial news programs.

If you listen to this recent CNBC interview (short & to the point) and nothing else today, you will be better informed than your neighbor about the state of the union.

I would suggest sharing this with your children and grandchildren so they know what to expect once they're faced with the results.

Interesting post Andy.

I am one of those fearful Americans. I believe in America and her citizens, but Washington is what I doubt. I fear we will lookback on 2010 as the good ole days!

Agree, A twit followed by another twit, to be followed by another future twit. Keep voting for the lesser of two evils and you will always get evil. Vote them out and they take thier millions and a paycheck with them, what do they care.

Steve Wynn couldnt be more on the money if he was clairvoyant. His words should be taken as gospel for those who are young and have to endure the clowns who are running the circus. Those who will end up having to dig this country out of the hole its been thrown into need to accept the fact they need to toss out these bums. Act now. Before the music ends and you have no chair to sit down on.

Our governments monetary spending behaviour is our down fall. Spend our way out of problems? Who does that? You and I cannot create fake money. We would go to prison. But not these clowns. The limit is how far and fast they piss off the public. But people have short memories. And no vision.

What I find so funny looking from the outside, US spent billions and many KIA fighting communism idea and what are they doing now?
Implementing the biggest ideas from communism just re-branding it.
Same BS as they were so against Russia when they were fighting in Afghanistan but now raging their own war there suddenly is ok...
I don't know a bigger example of hypocrisy.

Does anyone actually believe that a single man has the power to change anything? Socialism, it isn't a bad thing. Communist leanings, not really. O does have some good intentions. Following through is nearly impossible. Look at all the opposition he's had since he first started campaigning. People have been trying anything to smear his name.

Mutual praise to/from Chavez? That's pretty far commie to me!

Brings in Calderon (Prez of Mexico) to blast a US governor IN CONGRESS!?!?! That's an AMERICAN President?!?!

It appears that his intentions were good. Prosperity and equal chances to succeed in this country. World peace. etc. But he took office at a time when so many politicians were looking out for themselves and not the American people. All one has to do is look at the midterms. People are more worried about getting re-elected than they are about doing for the people. This is on both sides. Want to stop raising taxes? Stop spending money on stupidity. Stop following party lines and start doing. That man is fighting with and against idiots.

Prosperity for those who won't work. Reduce those who will to equal with those who won't. Appoint to the Supreme Court she who defended him against those trying to follow the Constitution.

Yup, great intentions :sarcasm1:

I guess you missed the full statement... "Prosperity and equal chances to succeed in this country." You have to work if you want to succeed. I didn't state or imply a free ride for those who won't. I don't recall him saying such. I haven't and don't hold O to be some type of deity.

Hopefully another G.W.B.!!! Right repubs?!?! Vote the twits out is the saying right? The republican geniuses will bail us out of our economic problems in months!! Point your finger. Blame the other guys. Disagree with EVERYTHING the other party favors. Blame any good intentions on upcoming elections. Use the Constitution in every argument possible. Do you know the meaning of the word change? People seemed to want change when he was elected. Change is EXACTLY what conservatives are afraid of. Which is why they hate Obama, and have from the start. Keep living in decline. Stick with the old tried and true. It's been working out so well right? Guess who I blame?

I dont think some are getting the message. Its no longer about picking one party over another. Its about a choice that departs from the 2 party influence or option. Conservatives are screaming, quite literaly, to bring real change. The liberals are not. They couldnt be happier with the status quo. "The far right or us,.... who are truely your only choice." Thats what they broadcast. Thats what you call fixing government?

What the hell does that change? Another chance given to screw things up worse then their predecessors? Its only excuses. "Give us time". "Give us another chance". "Why return to the other party". Lame. Things dont get fixed by using party guideance. Its about making the hard choices in todays reality. Its not going to be easy. More pain, more change in mindset. Choices no one wants to make and yet those choices have to be made. Thats what its about. But that takes guts. Leadership. Qualities not found in our 2 party system. Get with the plan America. Wake up. Vote Dem out. All of them. Go non Rep, go non Dem. Vote for those independents who echo America at heart. You can make a difference. Listen to your instincts. Most of us know whats best for our nation at heart.

Rum,
The truth is like surgery; It hurts, but it cures!

want change :blah::blah::blah: afraid :blah::blah::blah:
If I want to change my shirt, I don't throw out my whole wardrobe. If I want to change my oil, I don't go buy a new engine. If I want to change my hairstyle, I don't shave my head and say "I'm starting over". I guess IF I were in your state of mind about CHANGE, I'd be throwing out our entire system of government and creating a new system that pleases just you?
Seems I understand the word CHANGE much better than you do.
So go ahead and get mad because other people don't feel the same way as you do. That's what Dumoctats are good at anyway.

In Pres Obama's best Southern Voice:

"Don't you all worry about it, we are going to fire up the presses, print some more money and run another bailout program. And maybe even pave some more roads that don't need paving."

All the while the bridges are literally falling all over the place.

It will be very interesting to see what happens in November. I, for one, will be voting out most of the incumbents and replacing them with new blood. We did that with Obama and it did not pan out so well so I think we need to do a little research on who we pick. We are going down the tubes fast! There must be a normal person to vote for I hope. We will see.
