If you keep the prop size down probably. It is not difficult to prop these motors to 90-100 amps on 4S, so be certain to prop down on 6S. 33,000 rpm is a lot of revs - I'm not certain why you'd want to do this, yet limit yourself to just 80 amps.

Go for it. I run the stock BJ26 ESC & Motor in my UL-1 on 6S without any problems.

Make sure to remove the red wire from the esc harness and run a rx pack. SMALL prop, like Fluid said. 5s should be more than enough for big speed though, and the right prop on 4s will make it move!

46mph on 5s with a x642. Click the MG name in my signature for video of 4s & 5s. The motor can handle 6s voltage but the esc is not rated for 6s. Disconnect the bec like rum said. I use a 2000mah nimh rx pack.

I'm sure you could, but it will still be taking away power from the batteries. A t180 will work, a t80hv would work as well.

I've been playing with my Geico for 2 days now. Its been running great. I'm not sure why people always want to over power their boats. I understand its a rush, but crashing at 40 and crashing at 60mph will yield much different results. :Sinking:

My opinion is that if you want to have a rush or sorts, find someone with another geico and race. It will get the blood flowing.

Those that crash at 60 will be the ones bad-mouthing ProBoat for their lack of "Quality".

I am very happy with the stock system in this boat on both 4s and 5s.

To add too that... put out some buoys, and try to race on a course against someone else, holding lane one, dicing for the lead, for a mile or so. You might find that speed is all relative, and frankly, not the important part of the equation.

Steven... LOVE the new smilies!! :thumbup1:

Or burn up a esc.

It does sound much better. Hard to tell 100% if it's gone with the background music. His description says he made longer batt. trays and brought the batts back a little......

I sent him a PM on youtube, he said the batts are moved back. He said the batts where hagning off the back, I guess until he made some trays for it. He said drop the strut down unitl the top of the strut is flush with the bracket. Looks like he's the manager of a hobbyshop and is into rc's so it appears he knows what he is doing. He's got some fast planes as well.
