Here are a few pics with linkage all connected, right rudder pickup cools esc and exits out right side of the boat and the left rudder pickup cools the motor and exits out the left side.

Did you notice any decrease in top speed due to drag? Looks like the rudder setup on the shockwave 55.

not any that i can tell ,I sharpened and polishied the rudders and left the turn fins off, it steers alot better especially at slower speeds and no bad habits at high speed
I run 40C lpos in it and get a tad over 40mph which is plenty fast for this boat.

40mph is perfect for the fastech. Fast enough to be exciting, slow enough to not overheat and long run-times. Gotta love the extra insurance of dual cooling. Nice job Deserthobbies!

The dual cooling actually works great, it shoots out a pretty good stream of water only having to go through one component. ran it last night in my pond which is 1/4 mile long by 300 feet wide, water temp is 90 degrees and the motor and esc still stayed cool, just stocked the pond with 15,000 baby catfish and the rudder must have hit one no damage to the boat but the rudders cut the 6 inch channel cat in 3 peices LOL.

I also have dual rudder set up its way better than stock I have linkage connecting the rudders together instead of having them both connected to the servo.

I honestly dont know, never tried it with no turn fins with a single rudder stock set-up. it would probably spin out in a tirn

yes I think I already lose in stability than with the original engine at full speed with a propeller X642 boat swaying from right to left! by the way, how to fix this problem?
