With recent headlines about Rangel and Waters appearing before the House Ethics committee and being investigated, what makes any of us think something will be done? There have been no serious punishments forced on their own members when they are judge and jury. Its a joke to even consider justice will be done to any of them. These "elected officials" are above the law when left to judge and punish their own. Elites, God's or Kings?

as is prooved by your post, this topic is getting more attention these days than it has in the past several decades. which is a good thing. unfortunately there are plenty more in DC with the same M.O. that need to be exposed to the american people. democrat, republican, green, purple or red party...vote em out if they're not serving YOU.

Remember, there are times when convicted felons have run and won. Marion Barry, for instance.

How about Lyndon LaRouche. He may have never won what he really wanted, but he sure made a name for himself running from the federal pen!

Well, they are trying to get him to resign. That's a start.
