Well we all have to startsome where. My brother Josh bought is first boat yesterday. The lhs had a hammer less esc we picked up ARR for 75 bucks. To get him in the watter today I patched it up for him. Installed a mechanical controler from a fighter 550 kit I had. I was suprised the boat rans as well as it did with the weight of the controller, extra servo & 5cell tx pack. It will be better next week with the esc I bought from Deigo. We will running every Sunday. Josh is going to talk is friend into a boat this week. We hope to have 3 in the water next week. He already has the bug. I will be listing 3 of his 5 nitro trucks this week on ebay :). We are going to try and get every one we recrute in a brushed rtr powered by Nimh in order to keep costs down.

Down in D Smocks neck of the woods i hear they have some good races with those Hammers. I don't think everything that we race needs to be $300 plus dollars and do 30 plus mph!
What if we made a class that if someone ran in it and did well it would add points to any one other class they decide on for the day? To sort of get the fast guys interested in building participation in a lower speed class.
Thats a good idea :). I am telling my buddies to invest in brushed RTR's. My cousin is looking into a SW26, Apache or Villian 7.2 this afternoon. I'm running the Villian for my Bro's boss this weekend in hopes he picks something up also. I could possibly have 4 boats in the water with in 2 weeks :D. I need to make flyers but dont have a program..Anyone have any suggestions? I want somthing that looks halfway decent I can insert pictures in.
Thanks,
Tom
