I pulled the stock shaft, drilled out the outdrive, Installed a brass bushing, Installed the Teflon liner, Installed the .130 flex shaft with a 3/16 stub shaft. I didn't stop there...
I pulled the motor, radio, & ESC, Installed the Ammo motor 2300kV (as opposed to 1500-1606kV stock), CC Baracuda 125, Novak XXL & an X645 prop.

Yes, I know the steering linkage isn't attached!

Nice. Did you run that prop on the stock motor/esc?

Why pull the stock power so soon?

Only because I know the Ammo motor well, and I know it'll perform better. Plus the stock power system is more desirable when it's New!

Good point!! But I would have given the esc a beating. It looks pretty robust. But we all know looks can be deceiving.

Diegoboy - I made several runs today adjusting COG and after about 5 minutes the U-Joint/Coupler gave out (pin is gone and one of the holding knuckes is snapped off. Rather than replace it with stock, I am keen to know where you purchased those Flexshaft components as I'd like this not to happen again and the flexshaft seems the way to go.
