Bored so decided to share:
So I watched this video a few months ago (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOVgOGSH-r4) and decided to buy a go-ped. New these things go over a grand way more then I wanted to spend so went on craigslist and bought a used one for a hundred bucks. I'm 6'7" 300+ lbs and quickly realized that it was on the small side so I chopped the frame and doubled the length and re-welded it stronger then it was, re-build the motor and drive coupler. Just finished drawing and cutting the deck on saturday all that is left is paint the deck and attach it. Riding on the fram and with the gps in my pocket I hit 23mph. With my 135lbs wife on she is going to FLY on this thing. She hasn't rode it since the re-build. I wanted to throw NOS in it, but the wife likes it and it won't be a good idea.
