south central pa. Lake redman is just down the road. I see the sail guys out there all the time.... maybe i should ditch fast electric for slow wind power lol

You live in a nice area. I went to Messiah for my freshman year. Been thru there lots and lots of times - we used to live in VA and (at the right time of day) it was the fastest way up to visit family in NJ. Mandatory rest stop at the Shrewsbury McD's (I liked the old one better than the new one on the hill).

Task Force 50 (scale ships) has a regatta there on the south east cove of the lake. My wife actually enjoyed that event.

All the fast guys I know would be in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, or up in the Poconos. I don't think the Allentown club is very active any more. Try calling Bob Hero 610-838-8484 and asking about the Allentown club. Tell him I said hi while you're talking.

The only other fast club I know of even remotely close is down in DC.

You could also contact Cathie Galbraith at NAMBA and ask her about PA or northern MD members.

I run at Redman or Williams alot, and also over at indian steps along the river at Jan from Kintec racings place, Jan just E-mailed me about the possibilities of a club and doing some racing

As Long as I don't burn anything up at Jan's tonight I will be at Lake williams Sunday at 5:00, Thats when the water smooths out nicely :)

We don't go to the Main area, Go past the main entrance on the right and about 1/2 mile down the road on the right is a pull-off that we park at and walk down the hill to the lake, there is usually nobody there and it is a nice area with a table.

We can run anything electric, No Gas or Nitro, it is part of the York County Water supply, only places we can run Gas or Nitro is at Jan's house or Codorus.
