Hi Guy's ,

Slowly prgressing with my Outboard Tunnel project , just wondering if a forum member knows where to place my 2x 2s batteries , the boat is 32 inches long . Looking to set it up at optimum ride so that only the last few inches in water :rockon2: ??

Most tunnels cg is toward the rear of the hull. Generally the last 4-6 inches is where you want your cg. Remember prop angle and depth have a lot to due with getting a tunnel set up well. I would start the depth of the prop around 1/4" from the bottom and 1-2 deg neg angle.

4S 4200-5000 pack in front of the esc, rcvr, servo. Balance at 25-30% of the hull length from the stern of the boat.

So much the same as my 32 inch Cat ,though just a reversal of components , apart from the placement of weight further rearwood hey ??

Also considering adding an Outboard Pod , borrowing wood from home reno's then fibreglassed to the rear for some added complexity ( LOL ) , or would this make the boat overly flighty ??

All the best in R/C Boating ,
