hi guys im new to rc boating, i have just built a 80cmx20cm frame, made out of balsa wood and fiberglass it has a farly shallow hull and weighs about 900grams, i want to put an electric brushless motor in it... what is everything i need?

This should get you started, but you will still need props, antenna, 12 or 14 battery cells, Deans connectors, linkage boots, cooling hose and fittings.

hi guys iv been told to get the SV package from offshore electronics, its is going for $159.95, what do you guys think? is this site safe? how about the pricing is it werth it??

Hey Taipan, you can't deal with a better company, recently while trying to find an ESC for a boat build that I'm working on Steven spent almost the whole day on email with me identifing it and then getting it ordered!

And 1 more thing answers/advice you need answers this site will give you them!

well im convinced... ill consider perchasing the package. how about all of the steering gear like reomote control ans servos ans stuff like that what do you guys recomend? also turn fins i dont know whitch ones to put on my boat...

I live in Sydney Australia, the Fastest I have received goods is 7 days longest 2 weeks ( from date of shiment) but normally about 10 days.

and nothing has ever been lost in transit.
Also If the order is under $1000AUD there is no import duty.

well, I'm only 400mi away from OFE but it seems like steve teleports his shipments using some kind of black magic. :tongue_smilie:

Usually get packages in 2 days...very very fast, especially considering he doesnt charge much at all for shipping.

I live west of Sydney,got my order today.Ordered it last thursday.Pretty fast,well packed and CORRECT.Very happy,my second OSE order.Won't be my last either.
My last one was 13 days including weekend etc.
