Logarithmic Mode on ProBoat ESC??

Has anyone tried programming their ESCs to the Logarithmic mode?

I'd be interested to know if there was a lowering of the top speed with this setting?

Looking for a way to soften up the startup of the ESC, and was wondering if this mode helps do that.

Haven't ever tried it myself...

Nevermind... I just read that it reduced full throttle to 80%... that won't work.
