Ammo motor

Hi, has anyone cooked a SV27 esc with this Ammo motor from OSE ? I would like to know before I purchase it. Thanks guys.

i dont have one, but i know Grim names that ammo as thee upgrade motor to use.

I would think just stay under 45 amps, start with smaller props

I have had 2 Ammo motors. All run on the stock SV27 ESC. In my SV27, In my Miss Bud, In my SW26 Jet. Never cooked anything.

Dirtysouth31 has had it longer than me. He ran his in the SV27, Stock ESC, and an X445/3 prop. All was well.

i know a lot of ppl have answered this question in some form or fashion, but, in a direct manner, is a CF45 too much prop for the SV with the Ammo motor and stock ESC? I also have a x440/3, 40, 42, 45, 48mm graupner props as well as the stock prop.

Looks like you have a good assortment to test with. Start with the 2 blade 40mm and work upwards.
